Today was a full day of travel day for us. Since we were already packed, we were ready. Breakfast, load the buses, and then head on our four hour journey from Gisenyi to Kigali. We checked in at the airport and waited for our flight from Kigali to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. We arrived at the Ethiopia Guest House late in the evening, they had prepared dinner for us, then it was off to bed.
As we unpacked, we stopped and talked with the boys on our balcony. The city is lit up and the sounds blaring from the Mosque speakers are in the background. We can't see what is in store for us tomorrow, but God has a plan... We know it's beautiful and perfect.
The speaker sounds sent me to bed praying for the people who were hearing it.
Almighty Lord, please close the ears of your people tonight so that they may not hear the unholy words coming from the speakers below. Father, may we show the people here who YOU are through love and action. Father, I lift those who do not know you up. Send your children Lord, out the them, so they may know you Father. By and in the power of Jesus' name. Amen.
