It's official!!! I am headed to Ukraine this summer GO.BE.LOVE for orphans.
Aaahhhh! I've been prayerful all the pieces would fall into place and fit together since November. And in His big and mighty ways, God HAS orchestrated them all to fit them together perfectly.
The details:
I'm going with a wonderful organization, Visiting Orphans. As you know, our family was blessed to serve with VO in Rwanda & Ethiopia in 2011. This year, I will be going to Vinnitsa, Ukraine. I will be loving on orphans in two orphanages. I cannot explain how excited I am to be going. This blog will be used to share my time in Ukraine with all of you.
I need your support. Our team needs prayer, we need you to partner with us in asking God to continue to build relationships with the nannies we will walk alongside. We ask for prayers for travel safety. We especially ask for prayer that the children we see, are touched by the message of Christ's love through cultural and language barriers. I know first hand that love needs no language. Hope can come from a single hug, a simple smile, and by freedom in the Gospel. Package that with some bubbles, chalk, songs, and dance and you will see this hope come alive in Ukraine!!
I need financial support. This trip is around $3700 plus orphanage donations. I am starting fundraising by offering these wonderful window decals that my amazing friend, Tara S. created for me. They are a daily reminder that we chose to be blessings and that comes from Loving Boldly.
