A little this, a little that, a lot of random.

Wow! Summer officially starts here in 2 days for our kids. Summer, already? Where did the year go? It's been a busy year, that's for sure. So with that note, here is a little of this, a little of that, and alot of Randomness to get you caught up.

• Lately, I've been appreciating every thing I don't have. I know, that's weird, but it's true. We often focus so much on what we do have or what we want. Ponder that? What don't you have that you are thankful for? 

 

• I have finally caught up with all my singing shows that have been recorded. I'm actually kind of burned out from TV too, so I've been reading the Power of the Praying Wife by Stormie Omartian and Be Still... and Let Your Nail Polish Dry by Andrea Boeshaar, et. al.

 

• I am loving the new found strength and energy I have from clean eating and Isagenix. I'm still down my original 21 pounds and over 30 inches, but the lean muscle is wonderful, my stamina, strength, and energy are through the roof. • I've also started running and am training for my first 1/2 marathon in September. I'm running for Project Hopeful's Team Truth. Project HOPEFUL’s Mission is to educate, encourage, and enable families and individuals to advocate for and adopt children with HIV/AIDS and other of the most overlooked children for adoption.Check out my page, join our team, or donate to my run.

 

• I spend alot of time praying for and dreaming about the day when I will finally be able to travel to Ukraine, so in the meantime, I continue to pray for the people of that beautiful country.
 
• We are planning several fun family weekends and mini vacations throughout summer. We love traveling and are excited to hit the road as much as possible and relax.
 
• I have my CHL!  
 
• Cameron just had prom and he and his date looked like Stunning! They both shine inside and out. Chris is studying the books, as he is getting close to enough hours to test for his  Journeyman Electrician license.
 
• We are using a hummingbird that has nested and hatched a little one on our patio as a fun way to explore the world around us. I wish I could get out on the patio and clean, but I think it stresses mommy bird out, so I'm trying to avoid it at all costs, but with the temps already reaching near 100* we will be spending alot of time out back, so mommy bird will need to learn to share the patio.
 
• I'm still laughing that Sweet T and Little J think I'm mean because I've already told them that we will still do 1 hour of school work a day during the summer (30 min. Reading/30 min. Math & Science)
 
• Preparing for Cameron to be away for Basketball Camp, Church Camp, and Football Camp this summer. Trying to wrap my head around him being a Senior next year.
