Discussion: I LOVE sharing with my children what it means to worship the lord. We discuss how every knee will bow... What does this mean if not everyone believes? We discuss the significance of the shepard and the sheep with us and God. The psalmist calls for us to bow down and kneel before God. On our knees is not only a posture of reverence, it’s a posture of stillness. Driving, walking and running all describe actions of motion, but kneeling shows that I have reached my destination – God’s presence.
Activity: Although I don't really have an activity for this advent day yet, I still love sharing it with my children. We discuss so much today, that just them sharing how they pray and why they pray is activity enough for me. :)
