Update #2: Starting to look a lot like Christmas

Wow! What a difference a couple of weeks can make. The weather starting to cool off in many states, the stores are bustling with last minute (or for some of us.. first minute) gift purchases. The streets are buzzing with people, and the bells are ringing outside of the malls.

It's a time I feel we often take for granted. As I look through pictures of the orphanages during their Christmas Cheer programs last year, my heart sinks a little and it then I pep up, knowing that the simplicity of giving and reminding myself of the true meaning of Christmas is alive and well in the hearts of these orphans. They don't ask for much, they have basic needs that often go unseen or unfilled, yet when they receive a gift, they refill with hope for the year. Simple gifts that are freely given during the most beautiful season on Earth (In my opinion).

Today, as I write these reminders, I'm humbled by the continued support and love for the children that are left behind. I am grateful for the families that step up and step out on faith to give a little cheer and support the fragile lives that wait for families. I'm thankful to be a part of something bigger then myself and so life changing.

Today, I'm blessed to give an update on our Christmas Cheer. The need is great and it is slowly being met. We still have time (Christmas in Ukraine is in Jan.). Will you prayerfully consider a small gift to the least of these? What a gift to your children to wrap a photo of the orphanage/children you donated to and put it under the tree and then have them unwrap it and explain what you did as a family.

Maybe your small Church group would like to sponsor a small group of children?

Many orphanages have no funding and some are only partially funded. Message me if you need more details on the orphanage or the amount needed to fully fund them.
