Matthew 1:18
"This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit." (NIV)
Discussion: The bible tells us that children are a gift from God. We shared the blessing of children and shared with them their inheritance in the Kingdom of Heaven as an Heir with Christ.
Activity: Each child drew a picture showing God placing a baby into Mary's belly.
To us, it is important for our littles to illustrate this action, as Jesus was more then a gift, which they will explore later, but more importantly, he was not from man, but God himself.
