Spartan Bound, Week 1

This week has been a new one for me. A LOT of new fitness things, more running, and my food has been spot on.

I am sore, but I know that it is bringing about changes, both physically and mentally. 

Day 1: 
Spartan WOD: 75 jumping jacks, 30 burpees, High Knee Walk (1 set each @ 25' each), High Knee Skip, Side lunges (20 reps), Army crawl, Bear crawl.
Scheduled WOD: 40 minutes Total Body Hammer
Abs: C sit tap, plank knee taps, bicycles, Leg lift crunch, Side plank pass thrus
Evening workout: 30 burpees

Nutrition:


  • Am: Coffee, NOX, IsaLean Shake w/ionix and fruits, 
  • Preworkout: Amped Power, E+shot, GF granola (2 TBS.)
  • During workout: Water!!!! 
  • Postworkout:  IsaLean Shake w/ionix & orange replenish
  • Lunch (1 hr. after workout): 4 oz. Tuna Salad on lettuce (4 oz. Tuna, mayo, dill, cayenne), Grapefruit.
  • Dinner: Tuna sandwich
  • Daily intake of water: 1+ gallons

Day 2:
Spartan WOD: 75 jumping jacks, 30 burpees, High Knee Walk (1 set each @ 25' each), High Knee Skip, Side lunges (20 reps), 100 yard up hill sprint: repeat for 20 minutes. 3 mile trail run


Scheduled WOD: 40 minutes Max Hammer Strength training

Arms: (1 min. each) Shoulder Taps, Tricep dips, Arm circles, wide push ups, Superman

Evening workout: 30 burpees

Nutrition:


  • Am: Coffee, NOX, IsaLean Shake w/ionix and Orange replenish  
  • Preworkout: Amped Power, E+shot
  • During workout: Water!!!! 
  • Postworkout:  IsaLean PRO w/ionix and PB2
  • Dinner: 4 oz. Grilled steak, 1/4 c. baby red potatoes, 1/2 C. grilled brussel sprouts.
  • Snack: Banana and handful of almonds
  • Daily intake of water: 1+ gallons
Day 3:
Spartan WOD: 75 jumping jacks, 20 burpees (thank you, Jesus), High Knee Walk (1 set each @ 25' each), High Knee Skip, Side lunges (20 reps), Bear crawl


Scheduled WOD: 40 minutes Hammer Power training

Abs: C sit tap, plank knee taps, bicycles, Leg lift crunch, Side plank pass thrus

Evening workout: 20 burpees

Nutrition:


  • Am: Coffee, NOX, IsaLean Shake w/ionix and Orange replenish  
  • Preworkout: Amped Power, E+shot
  • During workout: Water!!!! 
  • Postworkout:  IsaLean Shake w/ionix & orange replenish
  • Lunch (1 hr. after workout): 4 oz. Tuna Salad on lettuce (4 oz. Tuna, mayo, dill, eggs)
  • Dinner: 4 oz. baked chicken breast, 1/4 c. baby red potatoes, 1/2 C. asparagus.
  • Snack: Banana and handful of almonds
  • Daily intake of water: 1+ gallons

Day 4: Rest Day


Day 5:
Spartan WOD: 75 jumping jacks, 30 burpees, High Knee Walk (1 set each @ 25' each), High Knee Skip, Side lunges (20 reps)


Scheduled WOD: Hammer Conditioning

Abs: C sit tap, plank knee taps, bicycles, Leg lift crunch, Side plank pass thru


Evening workout: 30 burps, 75 Jumping Jacks

Nutrition:


  • Am: Coffee, NOX, IsaLean Shake w/ionix and fruits  
  • Preworkout: Amped Power, E+shot
  • During workout: Water!!!! 
  • Postworkout:  IsaLean Shake w/ionix & orange replenish
  • Lunch (1 hr. after workout): 3 egg omelet with 1 oz. cheese and salsa
  • Dinner: Ribs, 1/2 baked sweet potato, garden salad w/ 2T. Italian dressing
  • Daily intake of water: 1+ gallons

Day 6:
Spartan WOD: 75 jumping jacks, 30 burpees, 

Scheduled WOD: None

Arms: (1 min. each) Shoulder Taps, Tricep dips, Arm circles, wide push ups, Superman


Nutrition:

  • Am: Coffee, NOX, IsaLean Shake w/ionix and fruits  
  • Preworkout: Amped Power, E+shot
  • During workout: Water!!!! 
  • Postworkout:  IsaLean Shake w/ionix & orange replenish
  • Lunch: Club sandwich wrap (on lettuce), 1 oz. cheese
  • Dinner: IsaLean Pro Chocolate with PB2
  • Daily intake of water: 1+ gallons


Day 7:

Spartan WOD: 3.2 mile run, jumping jacks, backward running, side steps 

Scheduled WOD: None


Nutrition:

  • Am: Coffee,  IsaLean Shake w/ionix and fruits  
  • During workout: Water!!!! 
  • Postworkout:  IsaLean Shake w/ionix & orange replenish
  • Snack: Almonds and homemade trail mix
  • Dinner: cottage cheese/spinach blend with venison pasta sauce
  • Daily intake of water: 1+ gallons
